A Quest in the Alpines CH 4

“Yay! We’ll find all the Druddgions! And then we’ll go back and eat all the pokepuffs they have and!—“Heaven is cut off by Rage’s unenthusiastic sigh,” Yeah yeah, We’ll go and save the world and such or something like that.” Sinking Ships pops out of the ground,” Why would we be saving the world? We’re just looking for a Pokémon Rage!” Heaven lands onto Ship’s head,” What if the druddgion does save the world? Then we’ll be super famous for finding him!!!” the two Pokémon shared their excitement. Rage however, laid her ears back in complete annoyance. “Are we going to sit around, or are we going to go find us that stupid dragon Pokémon.”

Heaven and Sinking Ships quiet down, before both nodding in agreement, “Sorry Rage! Heaven flies upward, her beautiful wings gleamed. Rage slowly follows her up in the air as Ships swayed his head around, “Bring down some Pokémon will ya!~”

Rage stops over the forest in the air. “Strange isn’t it, to be above the others?” Heaven asks, flying beside her. Rage only nods slightly,” I suppose…”

Heaven grabs onto her tail and tugs her back towards the high plains. “Over here! There won’t be any dragons flying above a forest! If they crash, they get really really hurt by the trees!” Rage glances at her,”…really really?” she shakes her head, “how god damn old are you Heaven?? You act like you’ve just hatched from an egg!!” Heaven sticks out her tongue,” well at least I don’t act like an immature teenager who likes to curse a lot!” She looks around in the sky, waving down to Ships,” besides, I don’t hang out with creepy Pokémon all the time.”

Rage glares at her,” creepy?? What are you talking about! I don’t do that!” Heaven floats up above her, “You always hang out with Dear Rabbit, and he’s pretty creepy.”

Rage sticks her tongue out,” well too bad, I like his company, and he only looks creepy, he’s not personality driven creepy!”

Heaven smiles,” do you have a crush on him??” her tail feathers spread as she jumps off Rage’s head, looking around for any possible Pokémon to take down. Rage blushes,” W-Well no! I don’t! I would never have a crush on him! Honestly! You don’t even see how he behaves! And what he does! And what he does to me! And—“

“What does he do to you…?” Heaven’s voice turned serious all of a sudden. Rage turns quiet,”…” She tries to think of a way to get her out of the cannon fire. “W-Well. Nothing serious but, never mind, everything’s alright.” Heaven looked down”…I’ll , talk to Majesty about him if he’s hurting you.” She says, heading down to Ships.

Rage blinked, before slowly following, still honestly stunned how serious Heaven suddenly turned.

They land, Ships tilts his head,” couldn’t find any?” Heaven smiles,” nope! Maybe Eternal Mother and Pencil can scare some out from the forest.” Heaven slowly looks over at Rage,”…”

The shadow slowly moves past them, staying on the ground.
